Información de la versión
The Somali language is spoken by approximately 21 million people, both in the Horn of Africa [Somalia, Somaliland, Djibouti, eastern Ethiopia, northeastern Kenya] as well as a growing Diaspora across Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and Australia. The initial translation was completed in 1979, and what is presented here is a revision completed by SIM in 2008.
The history of this translation work is described in Chapter 31 of “The Hardest Place. The biography of Warren and Dorothy Modricker” [Miller, Helen. 2006. Guardian Books, Belleville, ON, Canada].
